As a fully GMC registered doctor, I offer the latest in botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments for men and women. ORIS Medical certified and surgically trained, I pay attention to detail, symmetry and perfect results.
All clients receive a free initial consultation to discuss their needs and objectives, and agree a treatment plan. Treatment is then conducted either within my treatment room, or at your choice of venue by prior arrangement. A follow up visit is done at two weeks (this can be via video phone if you are a frequent traveller) to review results, and in the rare event that you feel you are not happy with the result, a top up will be arranged at no extra cost.
Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It works by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine at the axons of nerve endings, causing the blockage of nerve impulses and resulting in flaccid paralysis of muscles.
It is applied in very small amounts by injection. Fine needles are used to apply the toxin directly beneath the skin in a quick and painless manner. Results are seen within days.
Available in a variety of brands, I only use the highest quality products to achieve the best results for the longest duration. For this I use BOTOX, produced by Allergan.
Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid based fillers that are injected into the skin to give a smoother, fuller appearance. They are used to reduce lines and wrinkles, and plump up areas that are thinner or sagging, including the lips.
Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in natural skin healing and repair. It is a natural glycosaminoglycan and is one of the chief components of the extra cellular matrix, giving structural support to cells. It has a unique ability to hold moisture, giving plumper and smoother appearances.
While many different brands are available, I use Juvederm fillers for their excellent reputation, tailorability to different needs, and long term effects.
